Territory Wildlife Park
If your tykes can’t get enough of wild animals, take the drive out to the Territory Wildlife Park. This Northern Territory gem is a great place to take the kids, with a huge range of wild animals and natural wildlife to see. From giant crocs to cute, fluffy joeys, there are plenty of Australian animals to encounter (and maybe even meet!). These school holidays, the Territory Wildlife Park also has a huge range of school holiday activities including wild circus classes and an animal costume workshop. During the winter holidays, you can even enjoy a twilight tour or camp out under the stars. Do your kids prefer a bit of healthy competition to meeting wildlife? If that’s the case, head to The Planet for some awesome tenpin bowling or a game of putt putt. They have a 16-lane tenpin centre, including shoe and ball hire, bumper bowling for the younger kids, and glow-in-the-dark bowling on Friday and Saturday nights! Prefer putt putt? Their 13-hole mini indoor golf course is perfect for kids of all ages, and gives the family something fun to do together.
