Make sure you let your food settle before heading for some father and son water fun at Darwin’s safest, stinger and crocodile free swimming lagoon. If you have a baby boy this is the ideal activity because he can splash around in the shallow water section specifically designed for toddlers. If you’re a bit more of a thrill seeker, Wave Lagoon has swells of up to 1.2 metres in height. You can ride a boogie board or even just soak up the sun on one of their deck chairs. If you prefer still water the waves run on 10 minute cycles so you can have some downtime to have a relaxing wave free swim as well.

Frying Nemo
Complete your father and son day out at Frying Nemo. These guys boast some of the freshest fish and chips around and are on a prime waterfront location in Darwin. Sit back and order a big beef burger while sipping on an Asahi with your mini-me. They are a licensed premises with a fully equipped bar and a wine list to really help you guys wind down after your adventure filled day. Chow down on some of their famous mini burgers accompanied by a milkshake if your son isn’t of age.
