The dog-friendly zone begins at Muriel Henchman Avenue which is located near Seaworld.

If you’re not too hungry, and just looking for a quality coffee to grab when taking your dog for a play along the beach, then Froth Coffee Co is the place to go. For those very sunny days try their coffee on ice as a pick me up to keep you going with fetching the ball and playing around in the sand.

Palm Beach South

Let your dog enjoy the sites at Palm Beach during the weekend. The beach stretches from the Palm Beach Parklands all the way to Currumbin Creek and out to the surf with no shortage of areas to cool off in the water. You can bring a picnic blanket to lay on while your dog soaks up the sun and goes hunting for sticks.

3) Avvia Cafe Restaurant
This fresh and clean cafe is a regular hotspot for animal lovers in the area, especially when exercising in the morning. Tie up your pooch outside and drop in for their special breakfast menu to enjoy a sit-down meal. Something new to order is their Breakfast Okonomiyaki – bacon, cabbage, green onion served with poached eggs mayonnaise and Japanese BBQ sauce. All of their meals are fresh and wholesome so make sure to thank the owners Eddie and Cherie.

Tallebudgera Beach

This dog loving beach is a secret only the locals know about. Just north of the Tallebudgera Surf Life Saving Club, you can take your dog through a small track before coming to a dog friendly zone where they can be free to roam the beach all by themselves. If your dog likes running into the distance across a long stretch of beautiful beach then let them roam free here.

Located with a spectacular view of the water, Cafe 7 is a boutique cafe that is happy to say hello to you and your dog. Their coffee and cake combinations are always popular with the residents in the area and certainly don’t disappoint. Enjoy such close proximity to the water sitting on their quirky furniture and antiques that decorate the cafe making it unique.

Boat Harbour Park – Paradise Point

For Gold Coast residents further up north, if your dog is fond of the ocean but still likes the sight of land then you can take your four legged friend to Boat Harbour Park. With its secluded scenery, you can have the park all to yourself whilst overlooking the harbour. Although it is not beach, this area has stunning views and is better for those pups who like the outdoors but aren’t just yet adventurous.
