Whether you’re coming to cheer on a family member, or keen to enter one of the races yourself, this year’s 7 Sunshine Coast Marathon is cracked up to be one hell of an event! With all the events starting at Alexandra Headlands Surf Life Saving Club, get down to this popular Sunshine Coast location to wish the competitors good luck! Parking
- Mari Street, Alexandra Headlands
- Gold coin donation
The designated parking area for this year’s 7 Sunshine Coast Marathon is located directly opposite the event precinct on Mari Street, Alexandra Headlands. You will be asked for a gold coin donation upon entering, with all proceeds going to the Alexandra Headlands Surf Life Saving Club. There is also additional parking available around Alexandra Headlands, however, as this is not designated parking for the event, please be very mindful of local residents and businesses. As well as being a nationally recognised running event that supports health, fitness and participation, the 7 Sunshine Coast Marathon is leading the way in fundraising. This year100% of the profits will go towards brilliant organisations including Ronald McDonald House Charities and The Westpac Foundation, as well as many more, which are chosen by the runners themselves.
