Tropical Fruit World has plenty of things to do, including a park tour, plantation safari and various markets to shop at. Whether you’re after some fresh fruit (picked onsite) or to grab a gift such as jam, skincare or other small gifts, you’ll be able to find it here. Check out the wildlife boat cruise to feed the birds and ducks, and then pop into the Plantation Café for some lunch. They serve up fruity parfaits, wraps and sandwiches for lunch. Tweed Theatre Company
If your grandmother enjoys good theatre, this month the Tweed Theatre Company is putting on a performance of Brilliant Lies. This Australian play is a drama surrounding a workplace lawsuit, and is performed brilliantly by the cast at the Tweed Theatre Company. This cabaret style show is being performed in the civic centre next to the Tweed Heads Bowls Club and is sure to keep everyone entertained; with BYO drinks and snacks this is a fun night out. Be quick, because this play is only running for the remainder of April, so don’t miss out on tickets!
