Live Music on the Sunshine Coast 

It’s a big month for music on the Sunshine Coast, and if you’ve been hooked on watching the latest episodes of Celebrity Apprentice Australia, you may be fans of The Veronica’s and Anthony Callea. Good news, as they’re both performing in June right here on the Sunshine Coast.

The Veronicas

The Veronicas are playing on the Sunshine Coast this June, putting on a unique show full of their greatest hits plus new music from their double-album release, GODZILLA v HUMAN. GODZILLA will be a high-energy introduction into the alter ego of the pop stars, while HUMAN will see Lisa and Jess strip it all back to their more vulnerable singer/songwriter roots. 

Sunshine Coast Chamber Music Festival 

When: Friday 18th – Sunday 20th June 
Where: Mantra Mooloolaba Beach. 7 Venning St, Mooloolaba QLD 
The Sunshine Coast Chamber Music Festival is an exciting program showcasing dynamic Australian artists, featuring nine memorable live performances in the region’s most breathtaking spaces.  

The real strength of this program is musicians who may be considering a musical career have the opportunity to learn from professional musicians and gain valuable performance opportunities within the festival itself.  

Anthony Callea

ARIA award-winner Anthony Callea aims to bring everyone together again with his The Together Again Tour, stopping in on the Sunshine Coast this June. With a career spanning 16 years and after seven albums, Callea promises a show full of hit accompanied by his full band. 

Family Friendly Events on the Sunshine Coast 

Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show 

When: Friday 11th June, 10:00 am – Sunday 13th June, 10:00 am 

Where: Nambour Showgrounds, Coronation Ave, Nambour QLD 

The Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show is a massive three-day event running for more than 100 years, intending to promote the iconic agricultural industries located in Nambour. Kids and families will love the carnival rides and games, show bags, horse events, historic race cars, chainsaw carving, pet expo, young farmers challenge, fireworks and more. 

Cooloola Berries Sunday Fun Days 

When: All of June 
Where: 856 Tagigan Road, Wolvi Qld 
June officially kicks off Strawberry season, and Cooloola Berries on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast is the best place to stop in and pick your own strawberries. Kids will love the farm tours, and parents will love the Paella in the Paddock events each Sunday from 1 to 4 pm, featuring food, sangria and music.

Noosa East & Drink Festival

Hinterland Craft Beer Festival

Where:  Imperial Hotel Eumundi 

The Imperial Hotel in Eumundi is hosting the celebration of bringing together the best local craft breweries from around the Sunshine Coast for a third year. This event is free and family friendly, with lots of varieties of beer for the adults to be tasted, as well as talks by expert brewers and beer-making exhibitions.

Memory walk and jog

Raising money for Dementia Australia, the annual family fun run will kickstart at 7 am, where you can enjoy the views of the breathtaking Sunshine beaches while raising money for a great cause. 

Pranafest
