IPL Skin Rejuvenation
IPL skin rejuvenation — otherwise known as light therapy — uses a laser to assist with the repair of skin issues such as pigmentation, fine lines, blemishes and acne scarring. The laser is applied to the skin defect and over time, helps to rejuvenate the skin for a more blemish free complexion.
IPL skin rejuvenation is a progressive treatment, which is undertaken over a course of several visits to a beauty salon or IPL clinic. While it can have amazing results, you need to also be aware that these are not always guaranteed and depends on your skin type and sensitivity.
Electrolysis
Electrolysis is a method used to remove unwanted hair and achieve smoother skin. It involves a needle being inserted into the pore where the hair grows. From here, an electric current is passed into the follicle, eliminating hair growth by killing the follicle at the base. A major benefit of this treatment is it avoids the risk of ingrown hairs, which can often be caused by shaving.
Electrolysis can provide impressive results as a hair removal treatment, but it does involve several visits for permanent hair removal, and it may leave the skin feeling tender.
Volumisers & Dermal Fillers
Volumisers and dermal fillers are both injectable treatments that have been designed to help create a more youthful appearance by plumping the skin. The main difference between the two is volumisers were developed to stimulate the skin to form it’s own supply of collagen and elastin, whereas dermal fillers are a compound injected in the skin to fill in fine lines, etc.
When choosing whether to opt for either a volumiser or dermal filler, it is essential to know the difference. Volumiser has been designed to help restore your skins fullness over time, whereas dermal fillers were developed to offer more immediate results. Although a volumiser does take longer for results to show, the benefit of this treatment is it generally offers more long-lasting results than a dermal filler.
Anti-Wrinkle Injections
Anti-wrinkle injections were formulated to help create a wrinkle-free complexion. The anti-wrinkle compound is injected into targeted areas to prevent the muscles from contracting, in order to eliminate any wrinkles present, as well as stop further wrinkles from forming.
Before you decide whether you’d like to try this non-surgical cosmetic beauty treatment, it is important to know it generally lasts 4-6 months. While it may have fantastic results, doesn’t always dissolve deeper, static wrinkles.
