The Localsearch Ultimate Gym Playlist on Spotify

This is not your ordinary workout playlist—this is The Localsearch Ultimate Gym Playlist on Spotify full of some slightly unconventional, but scientifically backed songs to get your heart pumping and motivation soaring. Be sure to hit the follow button on Spotify to keep this jam-packed list ready for your next session.

Ever noticed working out without music makes every second feel like 10? Well, you’re not imagining it. A study published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology in 2018 reveals people workout longer if they do so with music. Of the 127 people in the study group, the 67 people with music spent a significant amount more time on the treadmill.

Even cooler is that you can influence your performance by matching your music’s beats per minute (BPM) with your heart rate—although don’t expect any miracle personal bests from this alone.

So, to help you stay motivated, we’ve created the Localsearch Ultimate Gym Playlist on Spotify. This isn’t your typical workout playlist either. There are some oldies, some newies and some goodies—but they’ll all make you want to get up, dance and sing! We’ll get your heart pumping, bring you back down a little, just to bring you up again.

Warning: Some songs may contain mature or inappropriate language.
