Finish off with a family dinner
Baja Cantina Kingscliff
After a big day of activities, your lttle one – as well as you – are sure to have worked up quite an appetite. Make the short trip south to Baja Cantina Kingscliff for the cherry on top of this perfect kid’s day out. This family-friendly restaurant is a favourite among Tweed Coast locals for their quality South American food.
From the moment you walk into this themed restaurant, your child will be mesmerised by the traditional South American decor and versatile menu – containing all of their Mexican favourites. While they are sure to enjoy everything on the menu, we suggest ordering the nachos with your choice of meat, frijoles, dingo tomato sauce, cheese, salsa, jalepenos and sour cream. However, be sure to warn them about the range of desserts before they accidentally overindulge. They’ll be licking their lips once they lay eyes on the ‘Sunday sundae’ with magical rainbow icecream, homemade caramel popcorn, topped with strawberries and drizzled with chocolate.
What about you? A whole day of looking after the kids can be stressful, so you may want to unwind with a cocktail or Corona (if you’re not planning on driving). There’s really something for everybody at Baja Cantina Kingscliff.
