What you need:
- 1-cup of ground coffee (unbrewed)
- 1-cup of melted coconut oil (see substitutes below)
- Half a cup of raw sugar
- Sealable jar
How to make:
Mix all ingredients in your jar until well combined. Mixture should be moist but with no excess liquid.
How to use:
For an intensive exfoliation, use a loofah or natural bristle bath brush. Rub a handful of the delicious scrub all over your body, focusing on any dry patches.
Substitutes:
If you do not have any coconut oil, replace with vitamin E or olive oil.
HANDS: Cuticle Cream
Extend the look of your manicure by cleaning up your cuticles on a weekly basis. Apple cider vinegar is a natural antiseptic that will ensure you stay clear of any nasty infections around your nails.
You will need:
- Half a cup of apple cider vinegar
- A tablespoon of coconut oil (can be replaced with jojoba or olive oil)
- A few drops of your favourite essential oils
- A container
How to make:
Combine all the ingredients in the container. Easy as that!
How to use:
Rub a small amount onto each nail, focusing on the cuticle bed as often as you feel necessary. Push back cuticle if needed with a sanitised cuticle tool.

Dry/Mature Skin Prone to Redness: Combine half-a-cup of warm green tea, tablespoon of rosewater and 1 to 2 drops of eucalyptus oil in a bottle. Apply to the face using a cotton ball.
Normal Skin: Place a cucumber in a juicer or puree and squeeze out the juice. Apply to face using your fingertips or cotton ball.
