Organised by the three major whale-watch operators—Imagine Cruises, Moonshadow Cruises and Tamboi Queen Cruises—this event is open to anyone who wishes to be part of it, whether you’re visiting for school holidays or are a Port Stephens local with some free time.
With hundreds of families and whale lovers set to form a 100-metre long outline of a Humpback Whale on the beach, it will packed full of people and fun! For a great morning out in Port Stephens, be sure to come down to Shoal Bay. This event marks the beginning of the whale-watching season, with more than 18,000 humpback whales expected to migrate down the coast between now and November.
