For the school holidays only, children are able to walk in the shoes of the park rangers at David Fleay Wildlife Park. Under supervision from the professionals, your kiddies will be able to get up close and personal with the amazing creatures that call this park home. Watch your little one’s discover what goes on behind the scenes at David Fleay Wildlife Park, from feeding the animals to scooping up their poop. Entry for this event is $19.45 per child which includes admission to the park. Hop, skip and jump to the David Fleay Wildlife Park this week for a day the kids will never forget.

Dust Temple
Your children are bound to need a rest after all the excitement of life as a ranger, so scoot the family down to the Dust Temple to get a pick-me-up. This quirky cafe cross art gallery is the perfect place to put your feet up for an hour and enjoy a barista coffee while the children sit down by your side and scan through the endless books scattered throughout this coffee shop. If you’re all feeling peckish, grab a sweet treat or a wholesome snack from the bar. Take a walk through the gallery (holding your children’s hands securely so there are no mishaps) and feast your eyes upon the amazing work from both local and national artists. If you love what you see, but finding it a little difficult with the rascals, head back another afternoon and attend one of the many art exhibitions at the Dust Temple.

Visit Palm Beach Creek
Finish off your day with a relaxing swim in the creek. The kid’s will love this location as it is the perfect place to carry on a day of adventure. Allow your children to play in the sand and wade through the calm water while you relax on a blanket, enjoying some time out. If you have a furry member of the family, be sure to bring them along as the creek in Palm Beach is dog-friendly.
