List of Anzac Day Services in Townsville 2021
1. ANZAC Park Cenotaph Dawn Service.
Time: 5:20am
Where: ANZAC Park Cenotaph, The Strand, North Ward QLD 4810
Assemble at the ANZAC Park Cenotaph at 5:20am for a Townsville City dawn service, followed by the ANZAC Day parade at 8:30 at Strand Park. Veterans and returned service organisations, active military units, local schools, and eligible community groups and service organisations will attend the march.
If you are unable to attend the parade, the council will be live streaming the event from 5:20am.
2. Thuringowa Dawn Service.
Time: 5:40am
Where: Thuringowa Cenotaph, Riverway Precinct, 20 Village Blvd, Thuringowa Central QLD 4817
There will be a dawn service held at the Thuringowa Cenotaph at 5:40am. Following the dawn service, the commemoration will continue at 8:30, assembling at the Weir School car park for the ANZAC Day parade, heading to the Riverway Precinct. From 9:30, there will be a mid-morning service at the Riverway Precinct.
3. Townsville RSL ANZAC Day.

Where: Townsville RSL, 139 Charters Towers Rd, Hyde Park QLD 4812

4. Townsville ANZAC Day Dawn Service.
Time: (To be announced)
Where: Riverway Stadium, Sporting Drive, Condon QLD 4815
Townsville’s ANZAC Day dawn service will go ahead at Riverway Stadium on 25 April 2021. The service will be ticketed, use contact tracing and have a maximum capacity of 8,000 people, with priority tickets for ex-service people and their families.
