Gold Coast car lovers rejoice; it’s that time of year again! The 6th Annual Inspirations Paint Gold Coast Car Show is hitting Mudgeeraba this weekend, with thousands of car enthusiasts expected to flood through the gates. Whether you’re looking to put a car into the car show yourself or just want to see what all the fuss is about, this family-friendly event has something for everyone. Along with an exciting display of vehicles—including vintage cars, hot rods, street cars and muscle cars—you’ll also be treated to live music, retro displays, vintage markets, food stalls, rides and more—it’s no ordinary car show!

Think your car has what it takes?
Whether you have a car, bike or truck, there are 65 different trophy categories available so there’s sure to be something suitable for your vehicle. Some of the most anticipated awards include best custom Harley Davidson and hot rod; the people’s choice retro award and the always interesting best worst car. It’s only $15 to enter your vehicle, so have a go and you never know!

With so many great entertainment options, spread over 2 days, it will be hard to fit everything in at the Inspirations Paint Gold Coast Car Show! We’ve supplied a little program guide with a few must-see events.
Saturday 22nd August – Retro Rock’N’Shine Night
4:00pm – Gates open, as well as the vehicle registrations for retro vehicles.
4:10pm – Dance along to the Coolangatta Ukelele Players.
5:00pm – R&R sock hop junior and senior dance off. Compete in this friendly, fun-filled retro dance-off for your chance to win a trophy!
6:00pm – Enjoy the smooth sounds of the Little Billy Band as you continue the night with some dancing to great rock n roll!
6:00pm-9:30pm – Bringing the family along? Be sure to venture out to the Kiddy’s Corner for some rides and entertainment that’ll have them grinning from ear-to-ear. Also, use this time to visit the food courts, night markets and retro caravan displays for the perfect end to the night! Remember to get plenty of sleep so you can continue the fun on Sunday.

Sunday 23nd August – The Gold Coast Show Event
6:00am – Gates open, as well as vehicle registrations.
9:30am – Get some breakfast from one of the food vendors and head down to watch The Alter Ego’s on centre stage, do what they do best—put on a show! (If you miss them, don’t worry as they also perform at 11:00am and 12:30pm).
9:30am-3:00pm – Today is all about the cars! Spend your day walking around and soaking up the beauty of all the surrounding mechanical masterpieces. From the big truck rev-up and show car displays right through to the truck and motorbike displays, if you’re a rev-head you’ll be in heaven. If the kids are getting restless, don’t forget the Kiddy’s Corner will be open all day.
