The Railway Friendly Bar
Family by day, party by night. The Rails Byron Bay can be a great place for those with families to enjoy a nice cheap meal over some light music. But come 9pm, it’s time to send the kids home, tuck them into bed, get your dancing shoes on and let your hair down. With music 7 nights a week, this Byron Bay landmark has been entertaining mature-aged partygoers for over 30 years. It is located just back from the main road on Johnson Street in central Byron Bay, beside the historic Byron Bay Railway Station and left of the Railway Park. Its captivating rustic decor and open-planned layout means you can enjoy the stars, a beer and some quality music all at the same time. With such a welcoming vibe, the Rails isn’t exclusively a mature crowd, but either way you’re sure to have a good night.
