Mount Warning may be one of the toughest climbs in the Tweed Coast region, but every bit of energy mustered is worth it for the majestic views at the summit. Starting early will enable you to take in the breathtaking sunrise across the entire Tweed coastline. The 8.8km return trip is much easier in the cooler mornings. Just be sure to leave yourself 2.5 hours to reach the summit before sunrise. All you need to bring is some tough shoes and a headlamp, as well as a backpack filled with a bottle of water, snacks and maybe some insect repellent.
