2. Brush your hair before you wash it

By brushing your hair before washing it, not only will you have less knots and tangles to get out while it’s wet, but it will also stimulate your scalp letting the natural oils out. This way, you can wash away all the oil in one go and have grease-free hair for longer.

3. Don’t shampoo every day

Shampooing everyday can have a detrimental affect on your hair—it can stop your hair from producing natural oils, which work to protect your hair naturally.

4. Bobby pins – you’re using them wrong!

This is a common mistake—the wavy side of a bobby pin is meant to be closest to your scalp. Not only does it look better when styling, but it helps to grip your hair. No wonder that ballerina bun has been falling out!
