This newly refurbished social hotspot, located just off the Pacific Highway, offers $6 mains (yes, you read right) with your choice of 5 different pub-style meals which includes parmigiana, pasta and calamari.
If your mantra is ‘eating is cheating’ when it comes to a big night, don’t worry. The cheap deals don’t stop at the meals. The Greenhouse Tavern offers $4 schooners on tap at the bar and $5 basics for those into their harder liquor. Thursday night means Mexican food at the Waves Bistro, where you can order a range of South American style dishes, including crunchy nachos with your choice of tender beef, chicken, pork or, for those chilli-lovers, a spicy pork buritto may sound more you.
Whatever your choice, make sure you wash it down with a glass of sweet sangria – also included in the $16.90 meal – to top off the Mexican experience. As the sangrias start to kick in, you and your friends can enjoy acoustic duo J and R Rhythm as they fill the air with their soulful blues beats. Club Coffs on West High
Club Coffs on West High is home to a trivia night and intra-club snooker tournament on a Thursday night, as well as high quality food and drinks at affordable prices. Whether you like grilled garlic prawns, pork chops or chicken schnitzel, start your night the right way with a selection of of delicious bistro-style mains at just $10.95 (add $2 for non-members). Once you’ve filled your belly with some brain food, you’ll have to make the difficult choice between spending the night competing in a fun-filled trivia competition with loads of prizes to be won or signing up to the intra-club snooker (you’ll need to be a member to do so).
Regardless of your choice, make sure you wrap your lips around a house red or cheap tap beer from the bar and soak up the entertaining atmosphere Club Coffs so often produces on a Thursday night.
