Tamborine Mountain Distillery has been a part of the Gold Coast hinterland landscape since 1993 and is still Australia’s smallest operating pot distillery. This award-winning family run business creates the best of the best in liqueurs, vodkas, schnapps and eaux-de-vie, that people travel from all corners of the globe just to taste. The secret to this high-quality drop comes from local fruit which is grown in a combination of rich red volcanic soils and fresh spring water then fermented and blended to perfection. Open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 3pm, a trip to Tamborine Mountain just wouldn’t be complete without a stop off at the Tamborine Mountain Distillery.

Cedar Creek Estate Vineyard & Winery
Home to delightful drops like the Cedar Starboard and Cedar Gold, the Cedar Creek Estate Vineyard and Winery is a great place to stop off for an afternoon of premium label wine tasting. Open 10am to 4pm everyday, spend your afternoon among the tranquil hinterland surroundings as you treat your tastebuds to some of the highest quality wine in the area. Their impressive cellar door is hosts many types of wine including Sauvignon Blanc, Verdelho, Chardonnay, plus sweeter styles and dessert wines. Feeling a bit hungry? Couple your wine with a meal from The Cedar Creek Estate Restaurant for a great tasting lunch you won’t forget. If you’re feeling adventurous, Cedar Creek Estate Vineyard and Winery also offer Glow Worm cave tours for a Tamborine Mountain experience like no other.

The Bearded Dragon Hotel
It doesn’t matter whether you’re planning on making this your final stop or you’re going to spend an entire afternoon here, the staff at The Bearded Dragon will make you feel right at home. This rustic old fashioned Aussie pub has over 15 different types of beer on tap, with all your favourites, as well as a selection from Tamborine Mountain’s own Beard and Brau Farmhouse Brewery. One of the few places where you can taste this fine drop, choose between six different tasting Beard and Brau ales to drink at the bar or even take some home. Have we mentioned the accommodation? After a day of drinking you won’t have to worry about leaving The Bearded Dragon with plenty of luxurious rooms available for you to call home for the night.
