Surf spot #3 – Sapphire Beach

This little area receives some of the best swells in the Coffs Harbour area, but you’ll need be careful as the double bar system means up to ten rips cut across this pristine beach. Even confident swimmers should think twice before heading into the water. But, if you’re an experienced surfer, gather your mates and tackle the challenging break Sapphire beach offers up. Otherwise, if you haven’t brought your board, a fishing rod is a must with plenty of whiting, bream and mulloway out there and just asking to be caught.
