As part of the Tweed Foodie Fest, Murwillumbah is hosting the ever-popular Foodie Friday Food Trail for those who love good cuisine. Grab yourself a map and start at Wharf Street, grabbing tasting plates and checking some local art along the way. Restaurants and cafes that are taking part include: Cenzo, Crumbs & Stuff, Cumin Kitchen, Haven Bar, JR’s Smokehouse Barbecue and more! Don’t miss out on this incredible event if you’re a lover of the finer things in life.

Tumbulgum Tavern
After you’re done trying bits and pieces of the best food in the region, head to Tumbulgum Tavern. Together with its Tweed River location and great, relaxed atmosphere, this is the perfect place to stop into after your Foodie Trail ends. Affectionately referred to as the “Tumby Pub”, you can grab yourself a fresh pint of beer off the tap or order a glass of their house wine. With a tranquil view of the river, this is the perfect place to unwind and recover if you find yourself in a food coma!
