Located in Skycity Darwin, Evoo Restaurant is a fine dining restaurant unlike any other in the area. The crisp white tablecloths and ocean views will set the scene for the culinary journey you are about to embark on. You can sit down to a full degustation or pick and choose off the carefully selected a la carte menu for dinner.
As an entrée, we recommend the rabbit and hazelnut terrine drizzled with soubise, remoulade and truffle. Follow it up with local snapper fillet, beetroot, pickled fennel and orange as a main, and if you’re still hungry a cheese plate is a fine selection to fill the spot. These dishes are sure to pair well with a glass of champagne or sparkling wine. Try the Wolf Blass Vintage Pinot Chardonnay to begin with and if you’re looking for an extra lavish treat we recommend the Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame 1995 for a delicate champagne with dominant floral notes and a taste of citrus fruits. You won’t be disappointed with your champagne dinner if you dine at Evoo Restaurant.

Table Forty Three is a modern restaurant nestled into the Mantra Pandanus in the heart of Darwin. While they have a popular $15 lunch menu, their main menu is designed to impress if you’re returning for dinner. Take a seat in the relaxed atmosphere and choose from a huge selection of foods from pizzas to tasting plates. Share a platter of crispy batter soft shell crab with pepper mayo before indulging in a main meal. To compliment the flavours of your bubbly, order the wild mushroom risotto with aged grana padano.
For your sparkling glass, you can choose from Australian sparkling wines such as the Jansz Premium Cuvee from Pipers River, Tasmania, or the Redbank Emily Bruit Cuvee from the King Valley in Victoria. If you’re a traditionalist and only drink French champagne, opt for a bottle of Pol Roger Brut NV from the famous Epernay region in France. This well-balanced, dry champagne is sure to set the flavours off in your creamy risotto dish as you dine in style at Table Forty Three.

If you prefer a modern cuisine to an a la carte menu, we highly recommend Seoul Food in the Élan Soho Suites. Head chef Chung Jae Lee has prepared an incredible modern menu based on his traditional favourites from Korea, but all dishes have surprising twists for a taste sensation. Try their unique barramundi dish or the Jap Chae – a traditional Korean dish made with potato noodles and seasonal vegetables.
Whether you’re heading for a date night out or just want to try somewhere new, you’ll love the menu at Seoul Food. Crack open a bottle of the Bollinger Special Cuvee Brut to enjoy alongside your dinner, or make it a champagne breakfast and enjoy a glass alongside some freshly stacked pancakes with strawberries and passionfruit. The pear and walnut flavours in the champagne will compliment any of the dishes being served up at Seoul Food, so don’t miss out on this modern restaurant.
