List of Anzac Day Services in Central New South Wales 2021
1. Bathurst RSL sub-Branch Dawn Service & March
Time: 4:30am
Where: Bathurst War Memorial Carillon, Kings Parade, Bathurst NSW, Australia
Bathurst’s dawn service will begin at 4:30am with a march. The march will step off from the corner of Russell and George street traveling to the War Memorial Carillon. This year the dawn service march is restricted to ex service personnel only.
2. Bathurst RSL sub-Branch Main Service & March
Time: 10:15am march for a 10:30am service.
Where: Bathurst War Memorial Carillon, Kings Parade, Bathurst NSW, Australia
This year the main service march has been restricted to veterans, ex-service personnel and current service members. Those who wish to march will have to register prior to the day at the Bathurst RSL sub-Branch. The march will step off at 10:15am from Rankin street travelling to the Bathurst Memorial Carillon for the commencement of the main service at 10:30am. It should be noted the main service is open to the public.
3. Cootamundra RSL sub-Branch Dawn Service
Time: 6:00am
Where: Albert Park, Bourke Street, Cootamundra NSW, Australia
The Cootamundra Dawn service will be a ticketed event in 2021 with COVID SAFE plans in place. Those wishing to attend will have to complete a ticket request from which is available at clubs, shops and hotels in the Cootamundra region.
4. Cootamundra RSL sub-Branch March and Main Service .
Time: 10:15am march for a 10:50am service.
Where: Albert Park, Bourke Street, Cootamundra NSW, Australia
The march will step off from 10:15am on Parker Street, travelling north before turning into Bourke Street and entering Albert Park. Like the Dawn service the main service will be a ticketed event with request forms available at local shops, hotels and clubs.
5. Gloucester RSL sub-Branch Dawn service
Time: 5:30am
Where: Gloucester Memorial Park, Memorial Park Lane, Gloucester NSW, Australia
There will be a standard service held at the Gloucester Memorial Park from 5:30am on 25 April 2021. The service will observe COVID guidelines for the safety of guests.
6. Gloucester RSL sub-Branch March and Main Service
Time: 10:30am
Where: Gloucester Memorial Park, Memorial Park Lane, Gloucester NSW, Australia
Step off will be from Denison street at 10:30am. Marchers will then travel down Densision Street onto Church Street then Hume Street before entering the memorial park. The stand ANZAC day service will be held at the park following the march.
7. Maitland RSL sub-Branch March and Main Service
Time: 10:30am
Where: Maitland NSW, Australia
Marchers will step off from Church Street and travel to the Cenotaph in Maitland park. The service will then begin with all members of the community invited to attend.
8.Trundle RSL sub-Branch March and Main Service.
Time: 10:45 am
Where: Trundle War Memorial Hall, Forbes St, Trundle NSW, Australia
Stepping off at 10:45am from Central School marchers will head north along Forbes Street towards Memorial hall. The service will be held at Memorial Hall and last approximately half an hour.
9. Werris Creek RSL sub-Branch Dawn Service.
Time: 5:45 am
Where: Anzac Parade, Werris Creek NSW, Australia.
The dawn service will commence at 5:45am and those wishing to attend will have to comply with COVID SAFE guidelines.
10. Werris Creek RSL sub-Branch Main Service.
Time: 10:45 am
Where: Anzac Parade, Werris Creek NSW, Australia
In 2021 the Werris Creek ANZAC service will be held within a closed off area of the street to allow more of the community to attend. Wreath laying will be possible and the service will run fro roughly thirty minutes.
