Whether you’re a local who can’t get through the weekend without a surf club feed, or a tourist who wants some great views to go with a delicious meal, you won’t be disappointed with these Gold Coast surf clubs.
Kurrawa SLSC
Located in the heart of Broadbeach, Kurrawa SLSC is one of the most popular surf clubs on the Gold Coast. If you think that it’s solely because of its location, think again! The staff at this surf club are extremely friendly and will happily serve you with a smile. If you’re an early riser and the skies are blue, be sure to book a table to guarantee yourself a spot overlooking the beach during your buffet breakfast. If you’d prefer to dine a bit later, there’s also an all day menu available from 11:30am to 8:30pm that’s jam-packed with tantalising seafood selections.

North Burleigh Surf Lifesaving Club
After you’ve spent the morning exploring the picturesque Burleigh Heads bluff, escape the crowds and take a short scenic walk down The Esplanade, stopping in at the North Burleigh Surf Lifesaving Club. Depending on what mood you’re in, order a creamy coffee or an ice cold tap beer as you soak up the views. While their menu is quite extensive, we suggest sinking your teeth into an Oceania burger with a barbequed Barramundi fillet, lettuce, tomato, sweet chilli, mayonnaise and chips. There’s also a number of other burgers, wraps and sandwiches available that are equally as tasty.

Nobby’s Beach Surf Lifesaving Club
Hidden away among the residential surroundings in Albatross Avenue, Nobby’s Beach Surf Lifesaving Club is known for it’s ability to produce high-quality restaurant-style meals. Choose to sit outside in the sea breeze, or if the southerly is blowing too strong, take a seat inside where the surroundings are elegant yet homely. If you’re hungry, you really cant look past the chef’s signature dish which includes King Snapper, fresh mussels, clams and king prawns in a tomato chilli and herb sauce. Although, a tasty burger selection could be more up your alley if you’re on a budget. Whatever mood you’re in you’ll love the friendly vibes and buzzing atmosphere at this popular surf club.

Southport Surf Lifesaving Club
Perhaps you reside a bit further north? Head down to the Southport Esplanade where you can combine mouth-watering meals with unparalleled views of Main Beach. If you’re looking to refuel after your morning surf, we suggest tucking into the healthy breakfast with poached eggs, mushrooms, baby spinach and tomato on wholemeal toast. Otherwise, to get the most out of your food experience at Southport Surf Lifesaving Club, stop by for lunch or dinner. Bring your mates down and pick one of twelve different tap beers as you take a seat in their dining area overlooking the beach. We’d normally suggest a meal, but you really can’t go wrong with anything on their versatile menu. However, be sure to sign up as a member if you want to make the most of meal discounts and a range of other promotions.
