The name says it all, this place is for caffeine lovers who also appreciate art and music. With graffiti murals outside the cafe accompanied by unique dishes to compliment the amazing coffee it’s a local favourite. What’s so fabulous about this cafe is its community support and interesting local acts that are featured on a weekly basis so if you’re looking for a little bit of culture with your coffee then Caffiend is the place to be. They also use a specialty roaster to ensure every cup of coffee is perfect and depending on which day you come in to have a black coffee you can try a variety of roasts.

3) Industry One Coffee Roasters
Industry’s specialty coffee roasting offers four unique blends to choose from which feature accents of hazelnut, chocolate and or fruity and floral notes. Their Cafe located a few minutes out of Cairns also produces fabulous simple sweets to accompany your coffee featuring cupcake Fridays, which is the highlight of the week. If you’re looking to get on the other side of the machine then their Barista classes will allow you to further appreciate their specialty coffee.

Bang & Grind is one of the very few boutique specialty cafes in Cairns that offer original blends. Their culinary food is also just as great as the interesting blends they have for the locals and tourists who love it. Roasting of the beans is done at Ransom Specialty Coffee Roasters and is then used in the cafe to impress coffee addicts. If you’re in the area then it’s well worth the trip to try both of their signature blends.
